Business Policy & Overview

XSpring Capital Public Company Limited, formerly known as Seamico Securities Public Company Limited, the Company registered to change the Company's name on 17th December 2020 in accordance with the resolution of the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders No. 1/2020 held on 16th December 2020, which approved to change the Company's name from “Seamico Securities Public Company Limited” to “XSpring Capital Public Company Limited”. This is to be consistent with the current business operations, including the meeting of the Board of Directors had approved the Company to return the securities business license and the derivatives business license to the Securities and Exchange Commission because recently the Company has made investments in other businesses that have potential and such securities business licenses are not required for those businesses. The Securities and Exchange Commission has issued a letter approving the Company to return the securities business license and the derivatives business license on 8th December 2020. Currently, the Company operates a business of investing in various businesses which are interesting both in Thailand and overseas to aim for a return on investment, divided into long-term investments and moderate, including short-term liquidity management. The Company, however, still carries on the business of securities brokerage, securities dealing, financial advisory and securities underwriting through Krungthai XSpring Securities Co., Ltd. (formerly known as Krungthai ZMICO Securities Co., Ltd.) which is a joint venture between the Company and Krungthai Bank Plc. Krungthai Zmico Securities Co., Ltd. has a license to operate securities and derivatives business from the Ministry of Finance and the Securities and Exchange Commission. Besides, the Company has invested in many potential businesses in Thailand and overseas to generate additional revenues.
